New Life Academy specializes in only helping adolescent girls ages twelve through eighteen; this gives our program better focus and allows our girls to progress more rapidly. Parents claim their daughters have the competence for regular functioning but are not up to par. These teen girls are displaying behavioral, emotional, and academic difficulties and have been indifferent to local counseling or previous hospitals or drug programs.

Lives careening out of control are hardly ever focused academically. Our Religious Component offers a proven success tract record of 86% per University Studies & National Surveys within the last 30 years. We have a nationally proven method of turning around the lives of students overwhelmed by emotional and behavioral problems. New Life Academy provides an empowering personal and academic opportunity for insightful, perceptive, innovative and gifted adolescent girls who may also display behaviors such as rebellion, defiance, dishonesty, manipulation, inappropriate expressions of anger, disrespect, verbal abuse, academic poor-performance, mild drug/alcohol/tobacco use, depression, cutting, anxiety and other challenging lifestyles.

Practical & Straight Forward

Our caring, staff operates in a unique culture which can help promote a positive difference in a hurting teenager's life. We provide an educational and residential setting structured to promote a safe and nurturing environment.  Often such young girls encounter difficulties in traditional school settings and the home environment. New Life Academy offers young girls enriched academics, individual and group counseling and a positive social and personal growth culture at a time in their lives when such goals may be overshadowed by negative distractions and challenging personal dynamics.

Parents, a key factor

To be of assistance in these trying times, we have decided to remain practical & available 365 days per year. Students can be enrolled at any time, provided there is room.  Our residential program successfully helps many abused & hurting teenage girls replace behavior patterns and make smarter decisions. This is done through an intense blend of traditional and non-traditional sessions delivered in a safe and nurturing environment. We will also encourage you, the Parent, to be faithful to your commitment to parent weekends, family therapy, parent level home-work, and on-going aftercare which will make a real difference in our success together as partners. NLA is intentionally kept small (40 beds) to maximize one-on-one interaction. Our student-to-staff ratios are excellent and our caseload is small.  As a parent, you play a critical role in shifting the paradigm in your daughter's life.  

New Life Academy's program also uses outdoor and recreation therapy to take advantage of our location near Orlando, Florida. Jonathan Dickenson State Park, Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Bush Gardens, NASA Space Center and Horse Ranches are just a few of the many attractions.
