Step 2. The Application The Application
Our parents rely and place their trust in our ability to carefully screen every student candidate to ensure that there is a proper balance of our student profile.
New Life Academy is an early-intervention school for unmotivated teens who are emotionally immature and act as if you always "owe" them something. New Life Academy is not set up to serve teens who are in need of mental health services (oppositional defiant, treatment for bipolar/depression, substance abuse treatment, or in need of help with "suicidal tendencies"), nor are we able to serve teens that have a felon criminal history (gang shootings, murder, violence/assault, drug trafficking, etc.).
Our Admissions Team will promptly review your application request once they have received your online submission .
Soon after your request you will be emailed an application, fill out the entire application and then fax the application back to us. Upon the submission of your application the New Life Academy Admissions Team will be automatically notified . Within 24-hours, our goal will be to assess the application and get in touch with you. Step 2 is our comprehensive application prior to being considered or interviewed for enrollment. This 2nd step is the Application Submission, the first of many steps through the enrollment process. Within 24-hours or less of submitting your application you should hear back from JLA.
You will receive a phone call from the Admission Coordinator once the NLA Admissions Team reviews your application. The Admissions Coordinator will provide you with a list of parent references, as well as an Enrollment Checklist if the team has given you a preliminary acceptance clearance for enrollment. (Please note: The remainder of the enrollment process will be coordinated by the NLA Admissions Coordinator to help walk you through the process for your convenience.) At this time you will be given a list of NLA contact names, an opportunity to ask more questions, and an enrollment interview appointment.

Step 3. The Family Phone Interview The Family Interview
It is our desire to minister hope to all prospective parents. Again, we understand that this is a trying season for families who are seeking a Christian program / boarding school for their daughter. We are honored to serve you and honored that God has ordained this meeting. This interview is of the upmost importance.
Usually, a member of the NLA Executive Team will call the prospect parent to conduct the interview.
You are invited to learn all there is to know about Jupiter Lighthouse Academy so that a well informed decision can be made. At the same time NLA Executive Team Member will be asking in-depth questions of the child and family life/beliefs so that we can have a better feel of what is going on within the family as a "whole".
This is where the bond between the Executive Team and the parents begin to form and strengthen. Where you learn of our devotion and passion and where we hear of your reckless abandonment to commit to whatever it takes, to save your child.
It is our desire to make sure that you are taken care of first, to minister to you and to spend the time necessary in order for you to feel our hearts so that you are comfortable and at peace knowing you found the right place.
Without your trust & commitment we can not be successful with your child. We will answer your questions to the best of our ability. Remember this is the "Step" that we truly learn of each other, our commitments and build trust.
