Comprehensive
Throughout the program the quality of the healing focal point remains consistent, from assisting a student and her parents in assimilating to the program, to creating a Exit Strategy @ 12 months for students to go home every weekend and every out-of-state students to go home 1 week a month to wean students back into family life and society, to making a life plan for after graduating.
Experiential workshops and intervention as well as a combination of individual and group sessions contribute to the restorative component of our environment. In order to further clarify between behavioral and mental health needs, your daughter's therapist may suggest the need for additional assessments when there are concerns regarding diagnosis, medication, or personality functioning. This will assist New Life Academy in making classroom decisions about instruction and informs students and staff about further enrollment.
