At New Life Academy, it is our commitment to introduce every student to the creator of this universe, Jesus Christ, with the purpose of calling forth and releasing their specific purpose and destiny. We provide this opportunity in a 15 month residential Faith-Based Christ Centered environment.
If you are reading this page undoubtedly you are going through troubled times. This season of hurt, despair, confusion, exhaustion, bewilderment and pain can have you feeling betrayed as if your daughter is divorcing you.
My prayer is that while you evaluate this site may the Peace of God start to intervene in your family, while the Mighty Arm of God starts to intervene and grabs hold of your daughter's spirit.
You Are Not Alone
I personally know the gut-wrenching feeling of having a prodigal, I know your heart literally feels the grief as if someone just died. You can have the perfect house, raise all your children with the same love, principles and values and still have one that has a "taste", an "appetite" for things that are not "served" at home or supported there.
Our Results
At New Life Academy we have seen daughters rise above and beyond other programs. We have seen our students take State Championships in Girls Rugby, placed 6 students in the top 10 in the State of Florida Teen Bible Quiz 2008, and qualified every student to be invited to contend for the National Fine Arts competition titles, where they compete against approximately 17,000 top teen national finalists. We believe in showing our students to excel in what God has gifted them to soar with and to start accepting who they are in Christ, to stop trying to become someone else, because they truly are only going to be second best at being that person. We have seen restored relationships, transformed lives, and emotional growth achieved at New Life Academy.
Emotional Intelligence
Our ability to increase a student's "Emotional Intelligence" four times greater than what it was when she first walked in through our doors and our national success rate of 86% makes us one of the most successful programs of its kind in the nation.
Unique
-
With our small size (Aprox. 30 students)
-
Home visits after 15 months
-
Christmas and 4th of July holiday "Family Restoration Week"
-
Marriage, Family and Parenting class
-
3 day Parent Weekend Visit every other month
- Overseas Missions Trips - where students are placed in a position to minister to people less fortunate than themselves and to serve others without wanting any compensation in return.
- 15 month enrollment
Can you imagine the impact this has on your daughter when the scales that where clouding her vision with "SELFISHNESS & SELFCENTEREDNESS" fall off her eyes. Every student on mission trips SEES & LEARNS that they have taken their families for granted and they experience
first-hand, by observing, that these foreigners are more grateful to be with family and have less. These are but a few things that separate this center from other programs.
NOTE:
New Life Academy is not a wilderness program, boot camp, residential treatment center or therapeutic boarding school. New Life Academy is an early intervention program which also facilitates a Christian school for hurt teen girls (we are not a co-ed program).
New Life Academy is the school for the teen who rebels against "Education & Religion", not emotionally & mentally disturbed students. The student that attends New Life Academy is not violent, do not have criminal records, are not addicted to drugs, are not gang members, are not thieves, are disrespectful to parents but congenial and polite to the public. Our students are not in need of any psychological medications or treatments. Our students are good kids from good respectable families that are tired of being hurt and have put up a wall of anger, deviancy, and rebellion to keep those that love them away. For one reason or another they are hesitant to trust people anymore and have placed themselves in a path of detachment, the beginning of a prodigal daughter.

Our Focus
We focus on academics, Christian discipleship, and leadership training. New Life Academy is also a Positive Peer Culture driven program, set in a small, intimate, home-style environment where we encourage emotional and spiritual growth through adversity and hard work.
The Positive Peer Culture promotes the ideals of caring, serving, and trusting. Jesus taught his disciples to love and serve one another. The New Life Academy Positive Peer Culture process uses and promotes the same foundational teachings of Jesus Christ that He used in the peer culture he created with His disciples.
